Orange Trousers..

During weekend mornings, my housemate and I would watch a tv show on Virgin 1 Channel called "Ninja Warrior". The original show in Japan is called "Sasuke". It's sort of a game show in Japan (like Takeshi castle) where in contenders would go through 4 obstacle courses. These obstacle courses are very difficult, I'm not sure if there's anyone who had already completed it. At the start of the game, around 100 contestants would try and go through the first obstacle course. The course is so hard that just a handful could complete it and could proceed to the next course. The course gets more difficult as you progress to the next stage. We don't really watch it because we're impressed with the ones who finish the first stage. We're also watching it because some of the contestants are funny and the way go thru the courses are funny.

Anyways, they say that Japanese Firemen are good Ninja Warrior material. Probably because they're used to climbing walls and ropes, they're strong and quick and at the same time agile and flexible. There have been a few who had completed the 1st stage on their first try. And these firemen would wear they're uniforms during the games. They're wearing orange trousers -- reminds of the one that Naruto's wearing.. :)

Naruto Shippuuden 70: Resonance

On Naruto Shippuuden Episode 70, the fight between Asuma and Kazuma si continued while Sora continues to be overcome by the Kyuubi chakra inside him. As Naruto tries to stop Sora, the kyuubi's chakra inside Sora sort of resonates on Naruto, causing the kyuubi's chakra inside Naruto to leak. But Naruto tries to stop the kyuubi's chakra from overpowering him. Here are some screenshots from this week's episode..

The fight between the 8-tails jinchuuriki and Sasuke continues. But this time, it looks like the 8-tails is too strong for Sasuke. So, this is more like 8-tails jinchuuriki against Falcon (Sasuke's group -- with Karin, Juugo and.. I forgot his name..).

Naruto Closing - Wind

The first closing song in Naruto Part 1 is entitled Wind. I love this song.. (and of course, Michi..). The melody is really good.

Shippuuden Episode 68-69 out now!

Episode 68-69 of the Naruto Shippuden series is out now -- entitled "Red Chakra! Destruction and Rage." I was hoping that this episode would be as exciting as the episodes when The Third and Orochimaru fought after the Chuunin Exams in Naruto Part 1. It turns out that Sora and Naruto shared the same 9-tailed Demon Fox chakra inside them, although the chakra inside Sora is just a remnant of what's inside Naruto. And since Sora's not really a jinchuuriki, he's just a pseudo-jinchuuriki, he's body is more likely to be damaged when the demon fox's chakra leaks. Anyways, as usual, this episode ends leaving you hanging and waiting for the next episode. So let's just wait for episode 70. Here are some of the screen shots from episode 68-69.
